CNC Pressing

Sheet metal folding is the pressing and shaping of sheet metal on a press brake. We use a CNC pressing system to bend and manipulate sheet metal to form containers, enclosures, cases, brackets and sections.

At Fresh Metal we operate two Amada 7 axis press brakes. The CNC pressing brakes are capable of exerting a bending force of up to 130 tonnes and bending parts up to four metres in length.

We have a comprehensive range of tooling available, including radii, safety edge hemming, with joggles and dies ranging from 4mm to 80mm. Special tooling is purchased when needed, while our engineers can also design and build equipment in-house to complete specific projects, resulting in streamlines production processes and shorter lead times.
